I started my photography career 50 years ago while in junior high. My first teacher was the great master photographer Richard Stefani. I spent many hours during and after school hanging out at Stefani Photography soaking up all I could about the magic of photography. I loved exposing film and then going into the darkroom and seeing the “magic” happen. I have always loved print making and feel it is just as important as capturing the image in your camera. Be it film or digital, print making is an art form that takes many years to master.

After working for Richard Stefani for 10 years I bought the business and changed the name to Daniel’s Photography. For the next 40 years I ran a very successful photography studio in Woodburn Oregon. I got married, had two wonderful daughters and continued my passion for photography.

I studied the masters such as Ansel Adams and Edward Weston and spent much of my free time when not in the studio photographing my first love…nature. When I turned 65 I closed my downtown studio and opened a smaller studio in my home. I am still doing some limited studio work such as “head shots”and I-D photos and some commercial work on location.
